What does a typical day look like for you?
Most days start with coffee, walking with our pup, Waffles, and catching up on overnight messages before the Singapore workday gets going.
From there, it’s a mix of client calls, strategy discussions with the team, and the occasional fire drill. No two days are ever quite the same!
Which aspects of your role do you enjoy the most?
Seeing a client’s vision come to life, lightening their load, and bringing creativity or fresh ideas to the table.
I love when we can make things feel easier and more impactful for them.
If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?
I’d love to spend a day working at a small bar or café in a lake town somewhere when the weather is warm and the days are long. I really enjoy hospitality, and love taking care of people, talking to new people and hearing about their lives and experiences. I feel like I always learn so much.
That said, I know I’d miss the Accela team and our clients, so I’d be excited to come back to everyone the next day.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?
Walking, pilates, reading, and enjoying long, chatty meals with friends. Travel is always high on the list, too.
What’s your go-to way to reset after a busy week?
Movement and getting outside. Whether it’s a long walk, time with friends and family, or discovering something new (or even revisiting an old favorite). Shaking it up helps me reset and recharge.
Do you have any “hidden talents”?
Baking is my big, and probably not so hidden, one. I once won a bourbon apple pie contest! I also have a knack for tracking down the best neighbourhood bars and restaurants when I travel.
